Investigation of Gastrointestinal complaints often requires a direct inspection of the Upper and Lower GI tract. Endoscopy allows a direct view and the ability to perform biopsies or therapeutic procedures as required. Dr Connors is accredited with GESA (Gastroenterological Society of Australia) for Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy. Dr Connors also has a role in teaching training surgeons at the Mackay Base Hospital these essential skills.
